I started December 22, 2017, out with coffee and my best friend. There’s nothing better than just sipping a cup of joe and talking about your life, struggles, hopes, etc. with a person like Meg. After about an hour of such chitchat, we headed to Downtown St. Cloud to shop, eat, and of course, take pictures. First, we browsed the antique shop and scored some works by Shakespeare from 1911 for only a dollar. We also dug around the boxes of vinyls and cds in the record store. It was here where Meg bought a “1975” album for four dollars, which I so rightly deserved, but that’s another story. Taking pictures of Meg made me realize one thing: she’s way better at posing for pictures than I could ever be. So, it was quite easy for me to get the perfect pictures of her. Although my poses weren’t nearly as good as Meg’s, she did snap a few shots of me and my outfit. My top and bottoms are from Forever 21. Both pieces are technically my mom’s, but like most of her clothes, they somehow ended up in my closet. I got my shoes at Payless and my necklace came from a forgettable source. I got it years ago, but I’m not much of a jewelry girl, so I’m just now bringing it out of it’s box! I think it paired perfectly with the pink of my top. Well, that’s all for today’s post. I hope you enjoyed it and I’ll see you next time. Have a Merry Christmas!

Happy Sunday! For today’s post, I’ve got two outfits for you. While my neighbors weren’t watching, I took pictures of these outfits right outside my front door, which was very hard to do because apparently everyone wants to walk their dog on a Sunday afternoon. Anyways, Let’s check them out. This skirt is perfect for any occasion (like in my case, a polka dance or Thanksgiving dinner). I absolutely love the pattern and the ruffle addition! Like my long sleeved top, I got my skirt at Forever 21. To complete the look, I paired everything with my jean jacket from Hollister. My next outfit includes yet another ruffled skirt. I got this plaid piece at Target (aka the best place ever). I actually haven’t worn this one out yet, but I do love it! I’m just waiting for the right opportunity. The top that I’m wearing with this skirt is from SheIn. I have so many SheIn shirts I totally recommend checking their site out. That’s all I got for ya today. Thanks for tuning in!
Hello, everyone! It’s been a thousand years since I’ve posted and if you actually read this and enjoy my blog, I apologize. Since I haven’t uploaded anything in quite sometime, my momma volunteered to take some pictures for me and well, here they are! I got this jumpsuit at H&M and it was the last one on the shelf. I questioned if it would fit, but it did (thank you, Lord) and I bought it real quick. I also got myself some fashion blogger shoes because apparently all the fashion bloggers have them. These shoes went great with this jumpsuit. Check ‘em out! That’s all I got for you today! See ya next time, whenever that will be.
Hey, all! So, today I have three items to show you. All of them are from the clothing company “SheIn”, which I have totally been obsessed with lately. The three pieces came in great quality and were all less than $12! Item #1:Although it’s fall and my focus should probably be on buying more fallish clothing, I couldn’t help myself. I had to have these. Since Florida doesn’t even have a fall to begin with, it’s likely that you’ll be seeing me around in these a lot this season. Item #2:Next up is this stunning shirt! The detail in the embroidery is simply gorgeous and I adore the little, puffed sleeves. Hands down, one of my new favorites! Item #3:Lastly, I got this simple and sweet top. Once again, I’m loving the sleeves on this shirt, as well as the Peter Pan collar. Altogether, I’d say this shirt is a solid 10/10! Thanks for visiting! I hope y’all liked all of these pieces almost as much as I did!
There are probably more “SheIn” products to come. Abby A few weeks ago, I ordered some clothes from the company “SheIn” online. I was a little timid to buy their clothes because: 1) They’re incredibly cheap, like crazy cheap. 2) My mom pulled the, “I don’t think you should order them, but it’s your decision” speech, which usually means I shouldn’t get them. You know moms, they’re almost always right. 3) I had no idea if I could trust this “too good to be true” clothing company. BUT I did it anyway (sorry, Mom) and I’m so pleased that I did! This shirt was TEN DOLLARS! I absolutely fell in love with it right when I saw it and I knew I had to have it. The price was so worth the risk. This shirt turned out beautiful and I can’t wait to wear it everywhere I go! I have more “SheIn” pieces to show you and even more on the way (my mom ordered some herself). Luckily, we’re the same size! My sweet friends, Libby and Madison, took these shots of me. Of course, I got a few pictures of their stunning selves as well. They’re the hottest models I know. Speaking of hot, you get really exhausted after posing in the Florida heat for thirty minutes straight. So, we refreshed ourselves with the best snowcones I’ve ever had, but I’d advise relishing in their goodness after you finish your photography shoot. Just a tip. Because of Hurricane Irma, our church building was out of commission. So, we had a wonderful service at Chisholm Park. It was such a gorgeous day to worship outside! The shade was abundant and there was such a nice breeze, which equaled a perfect Sunday morning. After service, the whole church gathered together for a little brunch in the park. Once we finished our plates of food, some friends and I headed down a path to take a walk. Of course, pictures were taken. That's just a given. For church today, I wore a dress that I got from Goodwill for $6 a super long time ago. I've been dying to wear it, but haven't found the right opportunity. However, a morning stroll in the park seemed like the right time to bring it out. So, I did just that. I completed my outfit with some gold earrings from Forever 21, your basic sandal from Target, and my hair tie that I forgot to take off until about halfway through taking pictures. Happy Sunday, y'all! See ya next time. Okay, so I know it's not fall yet, BUT it's coming and I'm so excited! Fall is my second favorite season after winter, just like Halloween is my second favorite holiday after Christmas. I wasn't exactly going for the Tim Burton/ Wednesday Addams look, but I guess it appeared like I was (according to my boss' husband, I resembled Tim's Corpse Bride and according to one of my bffs, I look like I'm apart of the Addams family). These are both very interesting ways to describe today's look, but hey, I'm not necessarily complaining. Check it out for yoself. Through the years, I've never had any fall or winter outfits that I was proud of. My closet is full of spring-y and summer-y colors and not so much anything else. During the colder months (if it even gets cold), I focus more on bundling up and less on making a fashion statement. So, if I can succeed in creating one fallish/Halloweenish look, I'm happy. Apparently, that's this one! | Shirt: Jc Penny's | | Skirt: I have absolutely no idea | | Shoes: Forever 21 | Hopefully, you don't think I'm the spitting image of the Corpse Bride, but even if you do, thanks for reading today's post.
Abby When classes ended today, Libby and I shared the afternoon together. After driving home from Valencia in a car that had been sitting in the sweltering heat all morning, chowing down on some watermelon seemed to be the best idea. So, we did just that and more at Madison's house (the "more" was eating lunch and watching The Office). Once we finished our watermelon and departed from Madison's, it was just me and Libby. What did we do? Well, we headed to Goodwill for a little thrifting, of course. It only makes logical sense to try on the ugliest clothes at a thrift store. Obviously, we did. I'd say that we rocked these cheetah print jackets....Libby a little more than me. A pair of shoes is one of the most important parts of any outfit. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with a matching set of cheetah heels. But on a serious note, I totally upgraded (it was definitely time) my knockoff Birks for only six bucks! The best part is that they're completely NEW! And so we left Goodwill with happy hearts and full bags. That was my day with Libby! I hope you enjoyed reading about it. I'm always down to hang out with this gal because just like my title says, a day with Libby is a day to treasure!
I haven't had quality time with my best friend in what feels like forever, but tonight that all changed. Meg (she's the best friend) just recently got her license. Usually, more like in all instances, I'm the one who drives her everywhere, but she called me up and asked if I wanted to go with her to Starbucks (with her behind the wheel). I'll admit that I was a little scared. However, Meg did a pretty, darn good job at driving (in the rain might I add). Well, obviously I'm alive to write this blog post, so she must be a good driver. In all seriousness, we had a great evening. Our night mainly consisted of talking about school, friends, and Harry Styles. Normally, these topics end up coming up during our get-togethers anyway, but they were extra special tonight. Although our tastes in coffee are completely different, I think we can agree on one thing: anytime we have together, even if it's only for a couple of hours, is time well spent. Thanks for a fun night, Meg. xx
On Tuesday, I had an enjoyable gno with just me and my momma. We had good, quality time in possibly my favorite store ever - Target. I promised that I was only "looking", but still headed to the clothing section. Of course, I found many items that I absolutely adored. So, I tried them all on. Afterwards, I chose one piece to take home with me. Check this shirt out! This top is from Target's "Who, What, Wear" collection, which I had never heard of until I bought this gem. I saw a lot of other chic and unique items that were apart of this collection, so I'm definitely going to have to look further into it! The checkered print is something that I'm totally loving right now, which made this shirt a steal. I completed the look with some black, high-waisted shorts from Forever 21 and a pair of gray sneakers from Walmart. I was so excited to wear these shoes because I never have! They are another one of those items just hiding in my closet, waiting to be worn. Today was their lucky day. Also, shoutout to Libby, one of the best people I know, for taking these pictures. She makes me feel LOVELY! Okay, that is all.
